Meet Our PhysiciansNeel Anand MD, Mch, OrthNeel Anand MD is on staff at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Institute for Spinal Disorders. Dr. Anand's primary area of research interest involves minimally invasive surgical techniques for spinal disorders and trauma, which result in smaller incisions, faster recovery and better patient outcomes for both adults and children. Dr. Anand is certified by the Royal College of Surgeons in England and the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and he is licensed in California, New York, Nevada, England and India. Learn more about Dr. Neel Anand Eli M. Baron, MDEli M. Baron, MD is an attending neurosurgeon with the Institute for Spinal disorders (ISD). Dr. Baron recently completed his spine fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Prior to coming to Cedars-Sinai, Dr. Baron completed a neurosurgical residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He also received additional training in orthopaedic spine surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Physician Assistant - Sheila Kahwaty, MPAS, PA-CSheila Kahwaty is a graduate of the King's College Physician Assistant Program. She joins the Spine Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after spending a year as a surgical PA in Bethesda, MD. Sheila is a NCCPA Board Certified Physician Assistant. She comes with extensive knowledge of orthopedic and general surgeries. Mrs. Kahwaty assists Dr. Anand in surgery and is involved in the evaluation, education, treatment, and management of all patients in the practice.
